Foxnews flubs up Microsoft-Yahoo bid story
One of these things is not like the other….
I practice ‘media literacy’ when it comes to reading my RSS feeds. I subscribe to every major news outlet out there, be it conservative or liberal, yellow or gonzo, and then read all of them in an attempt to be fully informed on every viewpoint.
Today, when I checked my feed reader, I noticed:
FoxNews has been known for it’s spin, but this is pretty bad. Within the span of 2 minutes, MSNBC, CNN, and FoxNews all posted about the same story…with only MSNBC and CNN getting the headline right.
To be fair, FoxNews posted a “write-through” about an hour later, fixing the mistake and properly describing the story.
